Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and medical documentation, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health status.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate instruments and techniques.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Epic and Eaglesoft for patient management and record-keeping.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist.
- Ensure all medical imaging is performed accurately and safely, adhering to best practices in radiography.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the dental clinic to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.

Skills
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
- Experience with medical documentation processes and maintaining patient records.
- Familiarity with dental clinic operations, including patient assessment protocols.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is upheld.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providing clear instructions and support.
- Competence in using medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 35 per week
