Use SAS, SQL, and related tools for data mining and analysis
Support development of statistical models, including: preliminary analyses; variable selection, categorization, and transformation; and model design, testing, evaluation, and updates; most models will be GLMs
Refine and standardize existing models, data structures, and data visualizations
Support model filings, including developing exhibits and summaries
Provide guidance and expertise on modeling and statistical techniques
Develop monitors and data visualizations for statistical models and general Bluefire performance
Maintain and update models for underwriting, trend, and reserve levels
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
Ability to work independently, and with staff and peers in other locations
Experience with SAS or similar statistical software, SQL, data visualization software, and Microsoft products
