We are seeking an experienced Application Security Lead with a developer's DNA to lead our application security team. This isn't your typical government cybersecurity role. You will be at the forefront of our digital transformation, responsible for embedding security into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline from the ground up. Your mission will be to lead a team that performs Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) scans, but more importantly, to act as a trusted partner to our development teams. You will help them build secure coding best practices and provide actionable recommendations, not just reports. You'll be the bridge between development and security, ensuring our applications are both innovative and secure. While experience with the Department of War (DoW) Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a plus, your deep expertise in modern Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) practices is what we value most. If you have a passion for securing code and have experience with platforms like Salesforce or ServiceNow, we want to talk to you. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on national security by securing the applications our service members rely on every day.
