JOB SUMMARY: Incumbent serves as Custody Officer/COWP for Elkhart County Community Corrections, responsible for ensuring safety and security of the facility, staff, and participants. This position performs intake and release functions, floor monitoring, serving at the front/back counter, preparing and filing reports, supervision of participants and other related functions. Must follow universal precaution standards for blood-borne diseases. This is an entry-level position.
