Residential Youth Career Opportunities Milton Hershey School offers a unique career path for married couples to become flex houseparents. This role provides a consistent family-like structure for students and involves guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students.
Job Description: As a flex houseparent, you will reside in on-campus student homes and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. You will work closely with your spouse to provide a supportive environment for the students.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
Both spouses must be age 27 or older
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
