Public Area attendant is an individual who must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ability to use a variety of cleaning chemicals. Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs and office spaces. Clean all public bathrooms, empties trash and garbage containers, and clean hard floors, tile, and carpets as needed. Maintain windows and keep all guest areas clean according to our standards. Assure cleanliness of hotel lobby, shops, public bathrooms, office buildings, restaurants and all guest areas. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must have a current driver's license. Long hours sometimes required. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand for long hours at a time. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
