A reputable Manhattan-based general contractor is actively looking for a Superintendent with experience delivering ground-up and interior healthcare construction projects. Client Details Our client is a respected mid-sized general contractor known for their work in the healthcare, institutional, and commercial interiors sectors. With projects ranging from hospital renovations to ground-up medical facilities, they've built strong partnerships with major healthcare systems and private clients across the five boroughs. Description Manage all on-site activities for healthcare construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and owners' reps to maintain clear lines of communication
Enforce health and safety protocols, particularly those aligned with active healthcare environments
Conduct daily reports, manage inspections, and maintain construction schedules
Act as the key representative on-site for all field-related matters
Profile 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare projects (active facilities, hospital environments, or medical interiors)
Strong knowledge of DOH and infection control protocols (ICRA/ILSM)
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple trades efficiently
OSHA 30 required; CHC certification or healthcare-specific training is a plus
