Job Summary
As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care to our patients. You will support residents with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety according to the guidance of the Charge Nurse, adhering to established departmental protocols. Key responsibilities include:
Documenting patient records accurately and in a timely manner.
Conducting resident admissions promptly, including completing personal belongings sheets and recording vital statistics.
Promptly responding to resident call lights and fulfilling their needs.
Performing rounds and ensuring residents are repositioned to ensure their comfort every two hours.
Taking and reporting vital signs and weights to the Charge Nurse.
Following physician or therapy orders related to care devices and specialty care items.
Maintaining the availability of supplies and equipment on the unit.
Completing assigned continuing education and in-service training sessions.
Building positive relationships with patients, team members, and management.

Qualifications
High school diploma preferred.
Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification.
CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
Experience in long-term care is an advantage.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects safely.
Competence in manual tasks and the ability to complete documentation accurately.
Visual acuity to perform essential job functions.
Pay Range: $16.08 - $25.24 per hour.
