Job Title: Cloud Services & Software Integrity Engineer Location: % Remote (Must be located in CST or EST time zones) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Services & Software Integrity Engineer to support and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure and software deployment lifecycle. In this role, you'll take ownership of maintaining, securing, and scaling AWS cloud services, solving technical challenges related to DevOps and containerization, and ensuring robust data pipelines and automation tools are operating efficiently. This is a hands-on role ideal for a problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys debugging infrastructure, and has a knack for developing tailored solutions using modern DevOps and cloud-native tools. Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure Support Manage and maintain internal cloud platforms, primarily in AWS . Configure and optimize AWS EC instances , Elastic Block Store (EBS), and associated network and security groups. Monitor cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and implement solutions including upgrades, patches, and service optimization. Perform security patching by investigating service packages and dependencies within AWS. Data Management & DevOps Administer and enhance Jenkins CI/CD pipelines , ensuring stability and high availability. Containerize applications and scripts using Docker and deploy them using container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS) . Maintain and upgrade Linux systems, focusing on system permissions, firewall configuration, and hardening. Business Solutions Development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and support data-driven tools and dashboards. Create Python-based solutions integrating APIs and databases (SQL), leveraging frameworks like Streamlit , Dash , or Flask . Participate in disaster recovery planning and implement best practices for system resilience and data integrity.
Key Qualifications Must-Have Skills AWS Cloud Expertise (+ years) Strong experience with AWS EC , networking (security groups, firewalls), and storage services (EBS). Hands-on experience with cloud operations , instance troubleshooting, and system recovery planning. Python & SQL Proficiency Capable of developing from scratch and optimizing existing codebases. Comfortable working with APIs and various Python web frameworks ( Streamlit , Dash , Flask ). Solid experience querying and managing relational databases. DevOps & Linux Systems Management Proficient in system-level tasks including upgrading Linux servers , permissions handling , and firewall configuration . Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments. Proven ability to secure infrastructure and optimize deployment pipelines.
Nice-to-Have Skills Bash scripting and automation. Prior background in software engineering or full-stack development . Experience with virtual machine containerization . Knowledge of Jenkins build server administration.
