Envision Unlimited is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will support individuals with disabilities, enhancing their mental health and overall well-being through innovative and inclusive services. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a diverse range of therapeutic situations, with a strong focus on person-centered therapy and evidence-based practices. Assess clients? mental health and personal development needs through interviews, counseling sessions, and assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans that respect the clients' rights and personal choices. Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions that focus on building skills, enhancing adaptability, and fostering independence. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to plan and coordinate care, including residential support staff and occupational therapists. Maintain comprehensive client records and case notes, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to remain current on best practices in therapy and disability support. Proven ability to develop and implement effective therapeutic strategies in a supportive environment. Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capability to communicate effectively with individuals with varying abilities. Knowledge of disability rights, advocacy, and local resources for individuals with disabilities. Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
