QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university. Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in Michigan. Current CPR certification . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the development of departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care. Provide in-service education to hospital staff and external groups as needed. Stay up to date with advancements in the field of Physical Therapy. Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with licensure and the patient's age and needs. Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Help manage departmental records and generate special reports as required. Ability to lift or carry up to 60 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
