Join a team dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered care! We are seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Nurse Supervisor for our Level IV Neonatal ICU. This leadership position allows you to spend more time at the bedside while making a significant impact on our young patients and their families.
Position Overview: This role is vital in ensuring and delivering high-quality nursing care and coordinating departmental functions during your designated shift. You will collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing practices that support outstanding patient outcomes and service excellence.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing patient admission and discharge processes to enhance efficient care delivery.
Regularly assessing and improving the quality of care provided in collaboration with the management team.
Cultivating a teamwork-oriented environment with other managers and experts to enhance patient outcomes.
Fostering a patient-first approach and addressing service recovery when needed.
Implementing current nursing strategies to boost staff engagement, including regular staff rounding initiatives.
Participating in the hiring and training of new staff, while managing performance and conflict resolution to build a strong team.
Assisting with staff scheduling and managing resources to meet patient care needs.
Ensuring efficient inventory control of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
BSN required; MSN preferred.
Texas RN license or accepted compact license.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
NTD Cardiac Stable Module within 18 months of employment.
Neonate Resuscitate certification within 6 months of employment.
STABLE certification within 18 months of employment.
A minimum of two years of Level IV NICU RN experience in an acute care setting.
