Department/Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $76,396.32 - $126,730.61 Join Our Team! As a Clinical Nurse III in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, you will play a vital role in creating a compassionate and supportive environment for our patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests while documenting all actions as required by company policies and regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patient conditions. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs and responses to care. Utilize sound nursing judgment in all patient care management decisions. Provide immediate and emergency care for various injuries and medical conditions. Administer medications, both over-the-counter and prescription, as directed. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop an effective Plan of Care for each patient. Guide and mentor ancillary personnel while maintaining high professional nursing standards. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a professional nursing program, earning a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree. Current Registered Nurse license in New York State. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required. 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings. Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills. Understanding of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply problem-solving strategies in patient care.
