Department/Unit: Float Pool Work Shift: Float Pool_5_Night Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20 Join our dynamic Float Pool team and expand your nursing skills across 22 different medical and surgical units. Experience caring for a diverse patient population, including step down care, cardiac monitoring, and acute rehab, among others. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document care as required by company policy and regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions effectively. Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care rendered. Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions. Deliver primary and emergency care for a variety of patient needs. Administer medications (both over-the-counter and prescription) as prescribed. Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients. Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree. Current Registered Nurse license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Previous experience as a PCA or in another nursing assistance role is preferred. A commitment to continuous education and professional development. Knowledge of quality concepts and principles with the ability to apply them to improve patient care quality.
