Department/Unit: Med/Surg ICU - D3N Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20An opportunity to join a growing team as Albany Med launches its first new Intensive Care Unit in over a decade. This specialty hybrid ICU/Progressive Observation unit manages a mix of medical and surgical patients. A key existing component of this Unit is a highly cohesive team, that will be preserved and supplemented by heavy nursing/physician interaction. Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, intellectual flexibility, dedication to learning and clinical excellence are all key components to being a successful applicant. Minimum Qualifications
•Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred
•Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license
•Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
•Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multitask physically and mentally.
