Department/Unit: Coronary Care Unit - D2E Work Shift: Night Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20 Join our dedicated team in the 17-bed cardiac critical care unit, where you will provide essential care to adult patients facing life-threatening cardiac issues. This role involves delivering specialized services such as continuous EKG monitoring and quick response interventions based on the American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA-ACLS) Guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform essential treatments and procedures. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to determine and assess patients' conditions. Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and care responses. Utilize sound nursing judgment in management decisions for patient care. Provide primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses. Administer medications as prescribed, including over-the-counter and prescriptions. Collaborate with the nursing team to formulate comprehensive care plans for all patients.
