Key Responsibilities: Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document care as per established policies and regulations. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to effectively assess and monitor patients' conditions. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and responses to care. Utilize sound nursing judgment for effective patient care management. Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational conditions. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring appropriate safety and efficacy. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients. Guide and direct support staff while maintaining high professional nursing standards. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree). Current NYS Registered Nurse license is a must. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply them effectively in patient care.
