Job Summary and Qualifications:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees all unit functions during their shift. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care based on established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and embodies our commitment to the organization's mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitates efficient admission and discharge processes to enhance patient-centered care.
Continually assesses the quality of care in collaboration with the management team.
Fosters teamwork to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.
Engages in service recovery and supports a patient-first philosophy.
Implements nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and patient care.
Participates in staff selection, training, and development processes.
Manages staff scheduling and labor management in line with patient needs.
Oversees inventory control and assists with supply management.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of relevant experience required.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; candidates must obtain a BSN within 5 years if not already attained.
Current registered nurse license in North Carolina or active compact license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
