Pay: $25.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a reliable Class B CDL Truck Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering and picking up containers from customer locations, ensuring a smooth and incident-free experience while maintaining strong relationships with our customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites, adhering to all safety regulations. Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift, logging findings as required. Be flexible and willing to accept additional deliveries to meet business demands. Utilize a company handheld device for delivery verification, navigation, and communication. Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed. Ensure containers are clean and in good condition before delivery to customers. Manage customer rental paperwork and payment coordination. Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues, documenting necessary notes. Perform on-site repairs for containers and lifts, both in the field and at the storage center. Assist with storage center operations when required. Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, keeping it free of debris inside and out. May undertake additional duties as assigned. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position typically reports to Management, with direct supervisors being the Market Manager or Territory Manager. Valid CDL Class B License required, without air brake restriction. Must possess a current and valid driver license. Able to meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Minimum age of 21 years required (insurance necessity). Hold a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or be able to obtain a minimum one-year certification (DOT requirement). Preferred experience with electronic equipment and software. Basic math skills necessary for job responsibilities. Combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
