Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to lead the development of detailed site and grading plans, as well as erosion and sediment control plans. The role involves storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking design, and construction detailing and specifications. You will also be responsible for preparing inventory assessments, analyses, and reports, developing professional services proposals, managing projects and clients, and developing technical approaches to projects. Participation in public presentations and speaking engagements is also required.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed site and grading plans and erosion and sediment control plans.
Design storm water management systems, water and wastewater systems, roadway and parking layouts.
Prepare construction detailing and specifications.
Conduct inventory assessments, analyses, and prepare reports.
Develop professional services proposals.
Manage projects and maintain client relationships.
Develop technical approaches to projects.
Participate in public presentations and speaking engagements.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices.
Experience with Civil 3D software and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Knowledge of sewer systems, stormwater management, and underground utilities.
Expertise in site development, grading, and civil design.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
At least 4 years of relevant experience.
EIT certification preferred.

Experience with drainage design and civil site design.
Work Environment
This role is performed in a dynamic and collaborative office setting. The work involves using state-of-the-art technologies and software, including Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D. The position requires participation in public presentations and speaking engagements. Dress code is business casual.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
