Child and Family Therapist Private Practice
Are you committed to providing high-quality care to children and families seeking solutions to their relationship issues? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapist who can provide our clients with long-term strategies to improve their relationships. You will be given an opportunity to learn the skills you need to be successful in this position via a curriculum of training materials and case consultation. As a Child and Family Therapist, you will start part-time (working up to 15 to 20 hours per week) and grow into a full-time and salaried position as your caseload increases. If you have 1-3 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and are currently licensed as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist), LPCC (licensed professional clinical counselor), Ph.D. (licensed psychologist) please apply now!
Compensation:
$65 - $78 hourly Responsibilities:
* Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all face-to-face interactions, as well as on the telephone, via virtual meetings, and on social media.
* Establish a strong rapport with clients to foster a healthy professional relationship.
* Complete intake assessments, which include documentation such as Mental Status Exams, intake paperwork, and other assessments.
* Communicate with referral sources as well as primary care physicians (PCP) after initial intake, and as needed for ongoing care of clients.
* Complete timesheet daily, reflecting billable hours worked by the end of the day.
* Maintain clients' charts and keep complete and correct documentation.
* Exercise sound clinical and professional judgment.
* Attend all training as outlined in the Clinical Training spreadsheet.
Qualifications:
* Must have 1-3 years of marriage and family therapy experience in a clinical setting
* State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or equivalent
