Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery and aerosol treatments. Assist in the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation. Monitor patients and provide timely updates to providers regarding their conditions. Support transportation of ventilation-dependent patients. Respond swiftly to emergencies ensuring airway integrity during resuscitations. Qualifications Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required. Educational background can include vocational school or any level of higher education (Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree).
