Job Description:

Under the supervision of nursing staff, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists in providing clinical patient care, prepares and maintains patient records, and ensures a clean and safe environment. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist nursing staff in providing direct patient care, including activities of daily living and vital sign monitoring.

* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

* Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean and sanitized.

* Assist with patient mobility and transfers, including occasional heavy lifting.

* Follow verbal and written instructions from nursing and medical staff.

* Support patients' comfort and well-being by responding to their needs promptly and respectfully.

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications:

* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.

* Compassionate and patient-focused approach to caregiving.

* Previous experience in a medical setting preferred, but not required.

* Physical ability to perform occasional heavy lifting and assist patients as needed.
