Minimum Qualifications: At least 21 years of age. A minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years. A valid Class A CDL. Willingness to obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire. No convictions for reckless driving in the past 5 years. No DUI or DWI charges in the past 5 years. No license suspensions or revocations due to moving violations in the last 5 years. No serious traffic violations in the past year (e.g., speeding 15+ mph over the limit, following too closely, etc.). No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the past 3 years. Essential Job Functions: Open and close trailer doors (requires up to 46 lbs of force). Hook and unhook trailers (requires up to 90 lbs of force). Load, unload, or shift freight as needed (requires up to 54 lbs of force). Perform accurate freight counts and complete fuel tickets. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Enter and exit commercial vehicles and trailers from ground level. Drive for extended periods and maintain a seated position for long durations. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
