As a CDL-A local driver, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organization. Responsibilities Transportation of Goods Load and unload cargo efficiently and effectively. Perform tasks such as check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, and pickup/delivery of cargo. Exercise independent judgment when building and tearing down trailers to optimize time and resources. Other duties as assigned by management. Operate a forklift as needed. Complete routine paperwork accurately and properly log loading sheets. Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must have at least one year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience; those with less experience may be eligible for training. A Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements, and no automatic restriction, is mandatory. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. A safe driving record and good stable work history are necessary. Passing a DOT pre-employment drug screen and meeting DOT medical requirements are essential. The ability to work days, nights, and weekends based on location and shift schedule is also required. Benefits Competitive wages paid weekly according to union scale.
