As a CDL-A local driver, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organization. Responsibilities Transportation of Goods Load and unload cargo efficiently and effectively. Perform tasks such as check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, and pickup/delivery of cargo. Exercise independent judgment when building and tearing down trailers to optimize time and resources. Other duties as assigned by management. Operate a forklift as needed. Complete routine paperwork accurately and properly log loading sheets. Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must have at least one year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience; those with less experience may be eligible for training. A Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements, and no automatic restriction, is mandatory. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. A safe driving record and good stable work history are necessary. Passing a DOT pre-employment drug screen and meeting DOT medical requirements are essential.
