We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of commercial vehicles, particularly in the construction industry. This role involves transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in heavy equipment operation and possess a strong mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles, specifically a volumetric concrete truck, to transport materials safely to construction sites.
Execute heavy equipment operations, including loaders, excavators, and concrete pumps, as required for specific tasks.
Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure efficient material delivery and assist with various construction activities such as paving, concrete forming, and rebar installation.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Maintain accurate logs of vehicle operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles and working on construction sites.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Truck Driver in the construction industry or related field.
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to concrete mixers, dump trucks, loaders, excavators, and concrete pumps.
Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required.
