About the Role: Our food delivery drivers are vital to maintaining the food supply chain across the country. You will ensure timely deliveries, handling food products with care, and fostering positive relationships with our customers. Your daily responsibilities will include driving a tractor trailer or straight truck for local, over-the-road, and shuttle routes, all while adhering to DOT regulations. Key Responsibilities: Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members. Perform safety checks and inspections of the vehicle and trailer to meet DOT standards. Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards immediately. Accurately check and document all necessary paperwork associated with freight. Deliver products according to scheduled routes, unloading and transporting items as needed. Monitor and manage deliveries, including confirming receipt and collecting payments when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck, loading dock, and trailers. Complete daily records of service hours and all required documentation. Adhere to all company policies and perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 12 months commercial driving experience. High school diploma or GED required. Valid CDL Class A license. Must be at least 21 years old. Clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past 3 years. Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and background check. Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one. Physical ability to lift and transport items weighing between 10-90 pounds.
