Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour ***$2,500 sign on bonus*** JOB SUMMARY Join our team as a CDL B Driver, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering and picking up containers. Your commitment to safety and excellent customer service will ensure that every delivery is successful and incident-free. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism safely while loading and unloading containers at customer locations. Conduct and log daily pre and post trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift. Be flexible by accepting add-on deliveries to support business needs. Utilize a company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation with ease. Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed. Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable and ready for delivery. Coordinate rental paperwork and payment processing with customers efficiently. Maintain clear communication with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues. Perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center. Provide backup support for storage center functions when required. Keep the truck cab clean and free from debris inside and outside. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position typically reports to management, specifically the Market Manager or Territory Manager. This role does not involve the direct management of other employees. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License required, without air brake restriction. Current/valid driver license is necessary. Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Minimum age of 21 years is required (insurance requirement). Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum of a 1-year certification (DOT requirement). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Basic math skills sufficient to perform required duties. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
