Pay Rate: $28.50 per hour JOB SUMMARY Join our team as a CDL B Driver, where you will be pivotal in delivering and picking up containers at various customer locations, ensuring each delivery is executed safely and efficiently while building strong relationships with our clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers. Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift, logging all findings. Adapt to business needs by accepting additional deliveries as required. Utilize company-issued handheld computers for navigation and delivery verification. Operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes as needed. Ensure all containers are clean and presentable before delivery to customers. Assist customers with rental paperwork and payment coordination. Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues, providing detailed driver notes when necessary. Perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at storage locations. Occasionally support storage center functions as required. Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, keeping it free from debris. In addition, you may be asked to perform other duties as assigned. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position typically reports to management, with direct supervisors such as the Market Manager or Territory Manager. This role does not involve direct management of other employees. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction is required. Must maintain a current/valid driver license. Meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. At least 21 years of age (insurance requirement). A valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum one-year certification (as per DOT regulations). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Basic math skills required to perform necessary duties. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience will be considered. Ability to attend a mandatory 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
