Job Responsibilities
Serves as the primary Cashier. Processes in person /call-in tuition payments and assess charges to students accounts in Banner. Provides information to students on student account balances including student refunds and financial aid. Accurately post payments on accounts. Process reconciliation of daily activities and bank deposits. Reconciles cash drawer daily. Assists with processing Slingshot textbook student charges in Banner by term. Process SC Dept of Revenue GEAR payments on student accounts, reverse collection fees and update student holds. Effectively communicates information to students in regards to payment processing and issues with online payments. Review online payments reports and update student holds. Responsible for accurate communication with students, faculty, and staff in regards to billing questions and direct them to the appropriate office, if necessary. Also, answering incoming calls and directing external calls to the correct department. Process student ID cards each semester. Coordinate with Security on the purchase of supplies for ID cards, semester tags and ink cartridges for printer. Index and scan by term the student registration agreements from the CRM by student ID.
Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and experience in entry-level accounting or bookkeeping. Benefits for State Employees
