Internship Overview: Spend the semester gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced entertainment legal environment. As our Business & Legal Affairs Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our Senior Director of Business & Legal Affairs and gain exposure to key areas including intellectual property, content rights, production agreements, and contract review. From drafting language to researching legal issues, you’ll learn how the legal team helps shape and safeguard our creative work. You won’t just observe, you’ll contribute. Over the course of the internship, you’ll work on a hands-on legal project designed to deepen your understanding of entertainment law in a production setting. At the end of the program, you’ll present your project to key stakeholders across the company. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in the business and legal side of the entertainment industry. Whether you’re exploring a career in business & legal affairs, in-house counsel, or copyright/IP law, this internship will give you practical exposure to legal workflows in a creative company. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be a rising 2L or 3L at an ABA-accredited law school Completed undergraduate or graduate coursework in contracts, copyright, or entertainment law Strong legal research and writing skills Interest in business affairs, entertainment law, copyright, and/or intellectual property Knowledge of the entertainment industry is a plus Available to commit 20–25 hours per week Salary: $22/hr Omaha Productions is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
