Description: Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing strategic partnerships. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and a strong understanding of market trends. The assigned territory will cover central Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients. - Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for expansion. - Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business objectives. - Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to inform strategy. - Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals. - Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company and its services.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. - Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a similar industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
