Business Development Manager – Aerospace & Defense

Description Acara Solutions is seeking a results-driven, strategic sales professional to join our client on a Full Time, Direct Hire, Fully Remote opportunity Our client is looking to expand their footprint in the aerospace, space, and defense sectors. This role will lead business development efforts focused on build-to-print manufacturing, including elastomer molding, CNC machining, and EDM components. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEMs, MROs, and key contractors Build strategic, consultative relationships with engineering and supply chain stakeholders Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, quoting, and closing Attend industry trade shows and represent the company at networking events Maintain CRM records and track KPIs: revenue, leads, meetings, and partnerships Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction Job Requirements Skills / Qualifications: 5 years minimum experience of outside sales in aerospace, defense, or space manufacturing Technical knowledge of build-to-print manufacturing, including elastomers, CNC, and EDM Familiarity with NADCAP, ISO 9001, AS9100, and ITAR compliance Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field CRM and B2B database tools experience (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo)
