Overview
Reports to: Domain Manager, Business Analysis
Functions Supervised: None
Primary Functions: Collaborates as a member of Product Development Teams in the analysis of business process and feature definition of product capabilities. An active collaborator with Product Development Team members developing products to achieve strategic business outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and solve business problems by collaborating in the development and implementation of value driven business solutions.
Develops a working knowledge of credit union business processes.
Document product features in collaboration with Product Owners.
Document business processes.
Associate documented business processes to product features.
Collaborate with system analysts on user story definition for product features.
Collaborate with Product Development Team members on test case development and documentation.
Collaborate with Product Development Team members on test case execution and acceptance.
Collaborate with Product Development Team members on feature completeness and acceptance.
Work closely with other analysts to collaborate in knowledge sharing activities.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of team efforts and results.
Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Business, Finance, or another related field. Certifications in Agile, SCRUM, CCBA, and/or CBAP preferred.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Equivalent technical education and/or related work experience.
Experience/Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing at a variety of levels to include business stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, customers, and management. At least a year of professional experience as a Business Analyst and/or System Analyst. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies to include SCRUM and Kanban. Familiarity with software development lifecycle, operating systems, knowledge of business process model and notation (BPMN) tools, and time management skills. Able to work as part of a large or small team.
Tenure: Assignment to the Business Analyst I (Category 10), Business Analyst II (Category 09), Business Analyst III (Category 08) or Senior Business Analyst (Category 07), will be determined by the candidate's education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's certifications and/or performance.
Compensation Salary Pay Range:
Business Analyst I (Category 10): $63,233 - $99,908 annually
Business Analyst II (Category 09): $69,557 - $112,677 annually
Business Analyst III (Category 08): $79,989 - $132,798 annually
Senior Business Analyst (Category 07): $90,389 - $152,718 annually
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
