The Studio Manager serves as the "boots on the ground" in the studio on a daily basis. In this role you'll wear many hats - from staffing, to performance management, to studio maintenance, to sales strategy, and beyond. You are expected to drive the team's ability to deliver on the Bodyrok Service Promise: running a clean, friendly, and well-maintained studio.

Responsibilities:
Operations:
Responsible for facility maintenance. Ensure facility is clean, organized, stocked, and operationally sound. Act as main point of contact for facility support staff and vendors (e.g. third-party janitorial or maintenance service)
Own daily and weekly operating procedures for studio. Define and implement opening and closing protocols, among others
Own daily / weekly / monthly reporting and communications on studio operations and KPIs. Run reports, analyze data, and present insights to team (e.g. inventory reports, supply logs, maintenance logs, utilization reports)
Responsible for inventory receiving, control activities, and supply distribution
Responsible for merchandising and displaying retail
Staffing & Team Leadership:
Maintain a fully engaged and high performing team that aligns with company values and goals
Recruit, hire, train, and manage Sales Advisors. Own scheduling, time & labor protocols, payroll & commissions, and performance management
Implement and lead regular training to ensure SAs are trained in all focus areas (Sales, Customer Service, and Operations)
Conduct planning sessions, studio meetings, and performance reviews to review performance and offer guidance toward achieving individual and company goals. Recognize strong performance and discipline when necessary
Oversee team recognition programs (e.g., employee appreciation, birthdays, and milestones)
Act as a culture carrier of the Bodyrok core values. Lead by example and represent and embody the brand both inside and outside of the studio
Customer Experience:
Own end to end customer experience. Define and implement customer communication protocols, with the goal of resolving issues promptly, accurately, and with a friendly demeanor
Manage customer feedback loop. Analyze feedback, identify areas of opportunity, and implement related initiatives
Maintain consistent presence in studio, acting as the "go-to" leader for team members and a familiar face for clients
Sales:
Lead sales pipeline - from lead generation to membership conversion to retention and win-backs. Develop sales and marketing initiatives and strategies to achieve sales KPIs
Collaborate with Owner and Corporate Manager to drive sales through outside lead generation and onsite events
Lead retail sales strategy and related processes, such as maintaining sales logs and inventory management
Possess extensive product knowledge with regards to pricing, promotions, and retail
Qualifications:
2+ years of general management experience, preferably in the fitness, wellness, retail, or hospitality industries
2+ years of experience in sales with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets; Ability to lead a sales team and implement sales strategies
1-2 years of MindBody software experience preferred
Proven leadership experience with experience building and managing teams; Effective at motivating team members, prioritizing and delegating workload, and comfortable disciplining direct reports as needed
Excellent customer service skills and ability to keep calm under pressure
Proficiency in Google & MS Office Suites; Google sheets, excel
Strong communication skills in both oral and written
Outgoing and personable, with a passion for building relationships / teams and fostering a strong sense of community
Reliable and hardworking, with an excellent ability to multitask and a professional demeanor
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; You are comfortable jumping in to help, learning on the go, and getting your hands dirty - no matter how big or small the challenge
Strong organization skills and detail-oriented
Comfortable operating in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

Requirements:
This role is located on site in the studios
In this role you will occasionally sit, stand, walk, kneel, and reach with hands and arms
Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs
Ability to work day, evening, weekend, holiday hours as needed; Extended workdays may be required
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
The noise level in the studio environment is loud
Must be comfortable interacting with people and making them feel welcome
