We run a food helpline that connects people to free food resources in their communities, and we're hiring a bilingual (English/Spanish) Customer Service Specialist to join our remote team. What You'll Do: You'll be on the front lines of our text-based helpline , helping people in need find local food resources with empathy and care. Respond to inbound text messages and occasional phone calls Listen without judgment and refer clients to appropriate food resources Communicate with warmth, clarity, and cultural humility Collaborate closely with a small, passionate remote team What We're Looking For: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) Strong communicator with deep empathy and patience Typing speed of 50+ WPM Reliable computer, strong internet, and a quiet place to work Experience in customer service, hospitality, or community care is a plus Must be located in Maryland, Texas, or Georgia and available during Eastern Time hours Schedule 16–20 hours/week Shifts fall between 9am–6pm ET Primary coverage needed: Tuesday–Thursday and weekends (Saturday + Sunday) Flexible scheduling with ability to cover other weekdays as needed Required meetings: Wednesdays (~1 hr) and bi-weekly Fridays Why Join Lemontree?
