Were now hiring Group Teachers for our Before and After School Program at Knowlton Elementary in Delaware, NJ. We're looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy working with kids and are passionate about fostering a space where children can grow and thrive.

JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt PAY RATE: $15.49 $17.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Ensuring Compliance: Help maintain adherence to New Jersey state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the expectations set by our partner school.

Creating the Fun: Lead exciting, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Way Curriculum from fitness and STEAM to academics, creative arts, and more. Bonus: you'll also support kids with completing their homework like a champ.

Being a Role Model: Build a secure, positive, and fun-filled space where kids can flourish and look up to you as a trusted mentor every day.

Stepping Up: Support the Site Director with essential administrative duties, including maintaining attendance and registration, as well as ensuring proper staff coverage. You'll serve as the on-site lead when the Site Director is away.

Parent Communication: Keep families informed and connected via the Playground App, sharing updates and highlights from the program.

Team Support: Stay in regular communication with the Site Director to share updates and resolve challenges efficiently. Our strong team dynamic ensures top-quality care, a positive work culture, and proactive problem-solving.

REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:<BR> Associates degree in Child Development or a Child Development Certificate,

OR

Six college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, plus nine college credits in fields like Education, Psychology, Healthcare, or Nursing, or any discipline related to child growth and development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Cleared by a healthcare provider to perform all duties, and free from communicable diseases including TB. You bring warmth, energy, and strong communication skills to every interaction whether you're engaging with children, families, or colleagues. Youre also professional, dependable, and punctual. You're physically up for the challenge able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and stay active to keep pace with the energy of young kids!
