Were on the lookout for enthusiastic and lively individuals to join our team as part-time Childcare Assistants for the Before and/or After School Program during the 2025 2026 school year at our Union Avenue site in New Windsor, NY.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt PAY: $15.50 per hour

ROLE INCLUDES:

Help facilitate hands-on learning and play using our Healthy Kids Curriculum, which features everything from physical activity and STEAM to academics, creative arts, and yes homework help. Build a secure, healthy, and seriously fun environment where kids can shine. Be the standout role model theyll look up to daily. Communicate with parents and caregivers using the Playground App, sharing memorable moments and important updates. Stay informed and compliant by following OCFS rules, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program procedures, and all guidelines from our host school.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Youre at least 18 years old and have earned a High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of experience working with children under 13 is a plus, but not required were big believers in attitude and enthusiasm. You're medically cleared for duty and free from communicable diseases, including TB. Youre friendly, upbeat, and approachable with great interpersonal skills whether you're talking to kids, parents, or coworkers. Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are key. You can lift up to 50 lbs., stay active, bend, stretch, and keep pace with energetic kids all day long!
