The Authorizations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of insurance authorizations for potential new clients. The Authorizations Coordinator is responsible for obtaining, tracking, and maintaining authorizations for ongoing treatment, working closely with clinicians, insurance providers, and internal teams to avoid disruptions in client care. Role Responsibilities Retrieve and review reports from Lumary to ensure completeness and accuracy of client information. Submit reauthorization requests to payors, ensuring all required documentation is included and aligned with payor-specific guidelines. Communication regularly with Operations Leadership regarding authorization-related inquiries. Collaborating with Operations on overdue reports. Provide Operations up-to-date payor documentation such as treatment forms and guidelines Monitor and follow up with Operations on clients who have not been seen within a 2-week authorization gap. Maintain up-to-date payor documentation (e.g., treatment forms, guidelines). Accurately enter and verify authorization data from multiple sources (e.g., payor portals, email, fax, phone) into Lumary and other internal systems Verify authorization documentation for accuracy prior to system entry. Manage contact and authorization deactivations in HiRasmus, Lumary, and other applicable systems. Other duties as assigned. Must Haves High School Diploma or GED (minimum). Minimum of 1 year experience with processing authorizations. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Excellent clinical and leadership skills. Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs. Self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate, excellent time management skills, and skills to work independently. Professional demeanor, well-organized, and attention to detail. Demonstrate effective communication skills to interact with local clinics and Payors.
