Summary of the role

Summary:
Receive and process orders from initial contact with the customer through delivery and follow-up.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
* Process all orders received by fax and email into PRMS order entry system. * Answer Customer Service phone line and assist customers with general product questions, pricing, and product availability. * Receive and respond to all customer inquiries and complaints. * Coordinates complaint/customer feedback program, including data entry of new customer reports/complaints, initial screening of complaints for reportability and customer correspondence. * Interface with internal and external customers to ensure complete information is being collected for customer reports and complaints. * Ability to handle high call volume with professional courtesy. * Process all domestic MPS orders. * Maintain calendar for future orders. * Work closely with shipping department to ensure all orders are delivered on time. * Provide support to the Customer Service team members. * Motivate team members. * Be a subject matter expert in Customer Service matters. * Document customer contacts. * Perform other departmental duties as assigned. * Make sound decisions and achieve customer satisfaction. * Provide general administrative support for sales and marketing activities as required.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent. * Strong leadership skills. * Computer literate. * Strong typing skills with high accuracy. * Competent with Word, Excel and Outlook. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Two to three years of experience in customer service role. * Must be able to work in a group, call-center type setting. * Must be capable of making sound decisions and achieving customer satisfaction. * Strong ability to multi-task. * Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure. * Superior work ethic, attendance and punctuality required. * Attention to detail a must.
