Monigle is seeking a high-energy, purpose-driven sales candidate to join our Growth team as an Associate Director, Business Development. You will collaborate closely with our business development and marketing professionals to increase Monigle's awareness and reputation, while maintaining a pipeline of new, qualified opportunities. If you have 5-7 years of professional services sales experience, are a compelling communicator - written, verbal, and visual - and care deeply about brand, business, and the human side of both, we might have a perfect place for you.
Our ideal candidate has experience in marketing and/or sales within a professional services, strategic, or creative consulting setting - identifying, leading, and managing prospects to help close complex projects with C-level and Director-level decision makers. You should be comfortable using AI tools ethically to improve effiiency and impact.
Responsibilities:
- participate and collaborate with the Growth team to share innovations, successes, and challenges for everyone's benefit
- collaborate with marketing to ensure the right marketing mix and content are created and distributed to your targets and prospects, building an active sales funnel of qualified new opportunities
- using Monigle's content marketing engine (content hub) in your direct outreach and relationship-building efforts to attract, connect, and nurture prospects, keeping Monigle top of mind
- engage in direct outreach to qualified targets and prospects, building relationships and engegement opportunities that can turn into new clients. This involves sourcing and contacting new sales prospects through direct outreach, following up on campaigns, targeting qualified prospects, monitoring episodic market opportunities, and responding ot marketing-initiated inbound leads (prospects).
- Cultivate new relationships and create 'stay-in-touch' plans for potential new, former, and lapsed clients
- Make sure all potential contacts and target data in Salesforce are up-to-date and entered correctly to support effective ongoing marketing efforts
- Create a list of around 50 key 'marquee' prospects in your industry segments to establish relationships and convert them into 'marquee' clients. You will work with our industry leaders to create an account-based marketing plan based on an approved list of targets
- participate in conferences, events, and speaking engagements where you and our internal industry leaders decide we want a Monigle presence (such as sponsorship, speaking roles, trade booths, etc.) and where we anticipate a target-rich environment of potential relationships and opportunities
- guide the sales process from initial contact with the prospect (prospect qualification) through sales conversion (signed contract) and hand-off to CX (client experience) as a fully contracted project
Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 with potential of other commissions
- Our compensation includes a base salary, monthly sales bonuses (based on results), and performance incentives. Final salary will be determined based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience – reach out to us to learn more.
