Were seeking an energetic Assistant Site Director to help oversee our Before and After School Program at Montague Township Elementary School in Montague, NJ.

In the absence of the Site Director, the Assistant Director will take over leadership duties, including supervising the program and carrying out all responsibilities typically handled by the Site Director.

SCHEDULE: Monday Friday JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt PAY: $15.49 $17.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Support Superstar: Help the Site Director maintain program compliance with regulations established by the state of New Jersey. Rules and Standards Champion: Ensure both staff and programming follow OCFS regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and host school guidelines. Fun Facilitator: Lead interactive, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum from fitness and STEAM to academics, art, and more. And when it comes to homework? Youre the go-to guide. Operations Organizer: Manage critical admin tasks like accurate attendance and enrollment tracking, and ensure staffing levels support a smooth operation. Family Connector: Keep families informed by regularly communicating through the Playground App. Team Player: Work closely and consistently with your supervisor to share updates and address issues efficiently. Together, well maintain high-quality care, support a great team culture, and address challenges head-on.

REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:<BR> Associates Degree in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or a related field in Child Growth and Development and two years of relevant experience working with children

OR

Head Teacher endorsement from the NJ Registry for Childhood Professionals, Professional Impact New Jersey

QUALIFICATIONS:

Cleared by your physician to perform job duties and free from communicable diseases, including TB You bring warmth, positivity, and strong interpersonal skills whether interacting with children, families, or your team.
