Boston Volvo Cars is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join their service department.

Pay: $80,000-$125,000
Responsibilities Hire, train, motivate, and monitor service advisors and front-end staff Greets customers promptly, provides fair estimates, handles complaints, and conducts 24-hour follow-ups Monitors department performance, maintains efficient car reconditioning, and ensures standard turnaround times Manage the store’s workflow and delegations to the service technician team Supports the sales departments with new and used vehicle needs Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures Holds weekly department meetings with the Service Manager Assists in facilitating appropriate training as needed Build long-term relationships between the store, yourself and the customer Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality. Ensures that customers' service files are up-to-date and readily available for reference, i.e. scanned repair orders.
Qualifications 3+ years experience as a Service Advisor in a franchised dealership, with supervisory responsibilities Proficient in service department operations, computer systems, and software applications Valid driver’s license with good driving record Strong focus on exemplary customer service; a detail-oriented, organized, and teamwork-driven individual Ability to thrive in a process-driven environment Possesses a professional appearance and work ethic High school diploma or equivalent
