Ingleside Communities is looking for a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing for our location at 407 N. 8th St. Mount Horeb, Wisconsin! JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for overall supervision and coordination of the clinical unit, growth of facility and community resources, provides comprehensive standards, practices and programs that meet the needs and best interests of the facility, staff and residents.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin (which must be in good standing) At least two years of experience in long term care and sufficient infection control knowledge responsibilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong desire to work with the elderly Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED Previous experience in long term care Possess skills in leadership and communication CPR certified

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB, DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONS: 1. Supervisory: Manages training, development and performance of assigned staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce for Ingleside Manor. 2. Ability to develop and facilitate growth within the Nursing Department, relate professionally and positively to facility and departmental staff and to work cooperatively with others at all levels, and to include performance evaluations and discipline as necessary. 3. Perform assessments, develop and implement appropriate plan of care based on assessment and diagnosis tailored to meet the individual needs with the interdisciplinary team. Evaluates the plan of care and makes necessary changes as needed. Monitors the care delivery of staff. 4. Delegates and collaborates in providing resident care according to licensure and skill levels, follows up to ensure success. 5. Documents according to current standards and established policies. 6. Ability to work independently with organizational skills, to prioritize tasks and to exercise judgment consistent with core values. 7. Ability to model effective communications between resident, family, staff, and community. 8. Must be able to identify potentially unsafe situations and to respond appropriately. 9. Responsible to know, implement and assure compliance to State, Federal or County regulations and BHS policies and procedures. 10. Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.
