Pay Rate: $31.00 $33.00/hour base pay (+10% shift differential for 2nd shift)
Employment Type: 6 month Contract

Schedule: 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
Training Schedule: May begin on 1st shift (6:00 AM 2:30 PM) or 3rd shift (10:30 PM 6:00 AM) depending on department needs. Permanent shift will be 2nd.

**FAA** This is a Safety Sensitive Work (SSW) role under strict FAA regulations. Candidate must enroll in and participate in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as a condition of employment.
Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Assembly and Test Technician II to work on-site with our client, a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components company. This position plays a key role in the precision assembly and testing of commercial aircraft components. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
Assemble complex mechanical and electromechanical systems using specialized tools, gauges, and fixtures.
Perform operational testing using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment to meet exacting performance standards.
Interpret blueprints, parts lists, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks with high precision.
Accurately measure and maintain tolerances using calipers, dial indicators, torque tools, and other instruments.
Identify and diagnose test failures and recommend corrective actions or rework solutions.
Document performance outcomes, test results, and other technical observations.
Participate in daily operations including administrative tasks supporting production goals.
Must-Have Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred (required if no demonstrated related work history).
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a technical assembly or test role.
Ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Comfortable working with mechanical and electronic measurement tools.
Capable of performing basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Must be eligible to work with US export-controlled information.
Enrolled in or willing to participate in FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing.
Background in FAA-regulated or safety-sensitive environments.
Familiarity with torque tools, testing fixtures, and high-tolerance measurement.
Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality.
