Description
The Assembler position will support department goals regarding quality and quantity of production in a safe and respectful manner. Specific tasks may vary at different workstation assignments and as different product models are manufactured.
Responsibilities:
Assemble parts per work instruction into high quality product utilizing tools and fixtures
Utilize test equipment to ensure product is assembled correctly per quality expectations and other standards
Visually inspect parts and product for defects such as scratches, dents, slugs, pinched wires, etc.
Utilize workstation computer to read schedule, match parts to work orders, view work instructions, scan parts into inventory software, etc.
Adhere to safety standards
Uphold quality expectations
Train employees on procedures and techniques
Assist in defining work instructions
Housekeeping and workstation organization tasks
Other duties as assigned
This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended.
