Description - What You'll Do Conduct a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering strictly to established protocols. Analyze test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and engage in preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Assist in collecting specimens and preparing samples for testing when needed. Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, offer training to new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards. Uphold a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree; preparation for ASCP/AMT certification is preferred. Certifications Achieve ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of starting the position.
