The *Childcare Staff* is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing environment by supporting the Site Leader in the daily implementation of the UPK childcare program.

*Childcare Staff Job Duties:*

* Interacts effectively and frequently with all children * Maintains proper supervision of children meeting NYS OCFS ratio regulations. * Uphold the overall health & safety of each child enrolled * Ensure children have a positive, fun, safe experience while at the program * Models appropriate behavior in a positive, respectful manner

*Childcare Staff Qualifications:*

Must be at least 16 years of age High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience working with children under 13 years

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
