Principal Administrative Associate Division/Program Summary: The Bureau of Early Intervention is a comprehensive interagency program that supports infants and children with developmental delays in their efforts to realize their full potential. It reduces the likelihood of delays among at-risk children, assists and empowers families to meet their child's and their own needs, and entitles children, regardless of race, ethnicity or income, to services through the program. Position Summary: This position reports to two of the medical units within the Bureau of Early Intervention: the ESU with processing and reviewing multidisciplinary evaluations and assisting with other projects aimed at improving the quality of services provided; and the ATU with overseeing the procurement of assistive technology devices to children in EI. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Providing administrative assistance with the implementation and execution of the processes of the Evaluation Standards and Assistive Technology Units. Requesting service coordination/evaluation record notes from provider agencies and entering/reviewing data in spreadsheets, ESU application, ATU Tracker, EI-Hub. Reviewing submissions in EI electronic case files for completeness. Preparing documents with expert knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs using various Microsoft applications. Preparing emails and documents for distribution. Creating forms and entering information. Performing other administrative duties, as required. Completing any other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience described in "1" above; or A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and five years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience as described in "1" above; or Education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above. However, all candidates must possess the one year of administrative or supervisory experience as described in "1" above. Salary Min: $53,370.00 Salary Max: $61,376.00
