Job Description:

Adjunct Instructors Needed for Fall 2025: Subject area: Computer Science

The Computer Science department provides students with the skills they need to obtain entry-level positions in computer science and/or programming. Courses offered also prepare students in Computer Science and Engineering fields for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Courses offered in computer science include: CSC 120 Introduction to Computer Science/OOP (taught in C++) CSC 125 Python Programming CSC 225 Advanced Python Programming CSC-236 SQL Programming CSC 237 C++ Programming CSC 239 JAVA Programming CSC 240 Database Programming CSC 285 Advanced JAVA CSC 287 OOPL for Programmers In your application materials, please include which classes you have the qualifications to and experience to teach.

Requirements:

Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related STEM field. A Master's degree and significant, related, work experience or skills in various programming languages will also be considered. Experience teaching Computer Science at the college level; community college teaching preferred.
